DAMAC Zada apartments for short stays in Business Bay

Zada is a residential tower by DAMAC in Business Bay. It is not a hotel. You share the lifts and the pool deck with people who live here year-round, which tends to make it quieter and more settled than a hotel lobby.

Our property notes put the metro, Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa close to the building. We would rather not put a number of minutes on that. Have a look at the map against your own plans before deciding.

Life inside the tower

For a residential block, Zada puts a lot on the ground and podium levels. There is a swimming pool, a fully equipped gym, and a steam room, Jacuzzi and sauna. Outside there are landscaped gardens, a communal barbecue area and a children's playground.

The unusual one is the open-air cinema. Few buildings around here have one, and on a cooler evening it is a pleasant change from another night of eating out.

The practical side is covered too. The lifts are high-speed, security runs around the clock, and the building has allocated parking.

One-bedrooms, and only one-bedrooms

Our apartments in Zada are all one-bedrooms at the moment. Sizes vary a little from flat to flat, but they are all the same type of home: a separate bedroom, a living area and a kitchen.

The views differ more than the layouts. Some apartments face the Dubai Water Canal, some are on higher floors with city views, and from some you can see the top of Burj Khalifa. Some have a balcony. Say which outlook you are after in your enquiry and we will point you to the flats that have it.

The downside is that there is no choice of size. If you need two bedrooms, Zada will not work for you right now.

Who it suits and what is nearby

Zada works well for couples and small families staying anything from a few nights to a month. The playground and gardens help with children, and the gym and spa rooms make a longer stay easier.

Around the building you have Business Bay itself, the canal and the metro, with Downtown Dubai close by for Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall.

Do all the apartments in Zada have a canal view?

No. Several look straight onto the canal, while others look over the city or catch the tip of Burj Khalifa. Tell us which view you want when you send your dates and we will say honestly which apartments have it.

Can I park at the building if I hire a car?

Zada has allocated parking. Spaces are tied to apartments, so ask us whether one comes with the flat you are considering before you pick up a car.

Can I get into Downtown without hiring a car?

The building is near a metro station as well as Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, so you can take the metro or a taxi. We will not quote a journey time because it depends on traffic and the time of day.
