Holiday Apartments in Vera Residences, Business Bay

DAMAC is the developer behind Vera Residences, a tower of homes in Business Bay. You may also see it called Vera Tower, which is the name our own system uses. It's the same building.

This is a place where people live, not a hotel with apartments bolted on. That shapes the stay. You get a proper flat with a kitchen and your own front door, plus building facilities that are there for residents rather than for show.

Day to day in the building

The pool is temperature-controlled, which matters more than you'd think. It stays usable in the cooler months, and it doesn't turn into bathwater in summer. There's a fully equipped gym, spa facilities and a jogging track, so a run or a swim doesn't mean leaving the building.

Outside there are landscaped gardens, a BBQ area and a children's play area. The building also has some retail space. Security and concierge are on 24 hours. The lifts are high-speed, which you'll appreciate if you're on an upper floor and popping down several times a day. Parking is covered and allocated, a real help if you've hired a car.

Our apartments here

One-bedrooms make up most of our flats in Vera, and the two-bedrooms are fewer. We don't have studios here, and nothing larger than two bedrooms. Larger groups needing three bedrooms or more should look at another building.

Some of the two-bedrooms look out over the Dubai Water Canal, and some face the city and the Burj Khalifa. At least one of the one-bedrooms has a balcony. Views and layouts differ from flat to flat. If the canal or the tower matters to you, put it at the top of your message and we'll tell you honestly which flats are free for your dates.

Who tends to like it

Couples and solo travellers usually take the one-bedrooms. Families tend to go for the two-bedrooms, and the play area and gardens make longer stays with children easier. If you're here for a few weeks or a month, the gym, pool and track mean you can keep a routine going.

We'd rather not oversell the surroundings. The building is in Business Bay, and the canal and Burj Khalifa views from some flats tell you roughly where you are. For anything specific nearby, ask us and we'll give you a straight answer.

Questions people ask

Is Vera Residences the same as Vera Tower?

Yes. Our property system lists it as Vera Tower, and you'll see both names used. It's the DAMAC residential tower in Business Bay.

Can we use the pool in winter?

The pool is temperature-controlled, so it's meant to be comfortable through the year. Guests staying in our apartments use the building's pool, gym and other shared facilities.

Can I get an apartment with a Burj Khalifa or canal view?

Some of our flats here have them, mainly the two-bedrooms. Which ones are free depends on your dates. Mention the view you want when you enquire and we'll match you if we can.
