Holiday Apartments in The Cosmopolitan, Business Bay
DAMAC developed The Cosmopolitan as a place for people to live, and it stands in Business Bay. That shapes the stay. You get the facilities of a well-run apartment block rather than the polish of a hotel lobby, and for a week or a month that is often the better trade.
We manage a handful of apartments here, mostly studios. The facilities list is long for a residential tower, so that is where we start.

This list is live and changes as dates fill. Nightly prices are before taxes; pick dates on an apartment for the exact quote.
Nightly prices are before taxes: 5% VAT and, in Dubai, the Tourism Dirham fee are added and listed line by line before you send a request. A refundable security deposit may apply.

Day to day inside the building
Swimming is the strong point. There is a pool, and the building also lists an indoor one, which earns its keep in the hot months when sitting out in the sun loses its appeal. A fully equipped gym and spa facilities round out the leisure side.
You can get through a lot without leaving. There is a coffee lounge, there are dining venues on site and some retail space, and a laundromat if you are staying long enough to need one. The elevators are fast, guards are on duty at all hours, and parking is allocated rather than a scramble.
The honest caveat: this is a home for residents first. Expect the rhythm of an apartment building, with neighbours coming and going, not a resort with staff around every corner.
Our apartments at The Cosmopolitan
Our mix leans towards studios, with one-bedroom space as well. A studio works well for a solo traveller or a couple on a short trip. The one-bedroom gives you a door to close between sleeping and living, which helps on longer stays or if one of you keeps different hours.
Outlooks vary by unit. Some of ours face towards the canal, some over the city, and some take in the pool, with a few on higher floors. If the view matters to you, mention it in your enquiry, as it is the easiest way to end up in a unit facing the right direction.
Who it suits and getting about
The building has easy access to the Dubai Metro and buses, so you can manage without a car if you prefer. If you are driving, the allocated parking takes away one of the usual headaches of staying in Business Bay.
It suits people who want a pool and gym on the doorstep, a café downstairs and a straightforward base in Business Bay, more than anyone after a hotel experience.
Questions people ask
Is there an indoor pool at The Cosmopolitan?
Yes. The building lists an indoor swimming pool alongside its other pool. That gives you somewhere to swim when the heat makes outdoor lounging unpleasant.
Can I get around without a car?
The building has easy access to the Dubai Metro and bus services, so a car is optional. Plenty of guests rely on public transport and taxis during their stay.
Is there parking if I hire a car?
The building has allocated parking included. Let us know you will be driving when you send your dates, so we can confirm the arrangement for your apartment.
